Lazzara's Pizza Cafe

It’s bad. Please save yourself the time and IGNORE Portnoy’s review; he was either paid or high or both. Not trying to be contrarian. He got John’s of Bleeker 100% right. But this pizza here is just not remotely good. Sauce is super weird, cheese has no flavor and crust is too. It’s crispy which is why I guess he liked it but that’s about all I can say that’s positive. Maybe their Italian food is good but the pizza is really bad.

High quality and good, you definitely need a few slices to get the feel of it.

If you like thin crust crunch pizza this is the spot but I enjoy thicker doughy crust

As good as food can get. A perfect pizza. The gluten free pizza is 10/10. MUST HAVE WHEN VISITING NEW YORK

What a class little Italian place that serves half and whole super thin pies. This really hit the spot with a great amount of sauce which was a little sweet. It’s up a small residential stairway entrance, if you blink you’ll miss it.

Pizza sauce and cheese were good. First time I disagree with Dave. It was like eating pizza on a tortilla!!

Sauce was incredible my favorite part about the pie incredibly crispy and light! Highly recommend if staying in time square ambience is also nice! Staff was great and super helpful too!

Love that it’s super thin. Great pizza. I loved the Margarita pizza more than the cheese.

Alrighty Frankie…got a half a sausage pizza. Light and crispy. Great flavor. This is a pizza you travel across the city for. Small frontage- like a nice little joint in the 1950s. Definitely visiting again. Must visit!

The sauce was too sweet.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever tried!!! Seems a little sketchy at first but seriously give this place a try! Best vibes and AMAZING pizza

Yeah, this is pretty unique. I thought the crust would’ve had burnt edges with caramelized cheese, but it’s just crispy edges. It’s a very thin crust cracker style pizza with a very sweet sauce and a mild cheese, but it is darn good. I was surprised by the buffalo, it was a mix of what seems like buffalo honey and red sauce, but it actually was very good. This place is worth hitting for sure.

Sauce is very sweet. Crust rocks, super thin. Cheese is nice and a tad salty. Pepperoni is deli style and hot honey hits. Solid pie

An absolute stunner!!! The crispness and taste was something I’ve never had before. The ambiance felt as if we was having friends over to watch football and eat pizza. A must visit.

Ordered the clam and garlic and the special which looks like it had prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes and olives. The clam pie was better but neither were mind blowing.

StoolPresidente nailed it with this one. SuperLight, crispy, great thin crust, great sauce. I could eat 4 whole pies.

Very sweet and greasy in a great way, perfectly charred. Not a big thin crust guy but it delivered!
