Legacy Pizza & Bakery

Being from Jersey I was skeptical about the high rankings. But I was very impressed no flop on first slice and the flavors brought me back to Jersey .

Neat pizzeria and bakery. They are located in an older part of New Albany with on street parking. It’s the middle of November amd they are full blast Christmas decor which we thought was great. The crust on the pizza was fresh with little flop. We ordered it well done. They have a bunch of other items that looked good too; breadsticks, cannolis, sandwiches, salads…

One of the better pizzas I’ve had in awhile. I gave it a 8.2 my son gave it a 7.7 and wife was a 7.9. Definitely recommend it!!!

Phenomenal “Football” pizza as Dave calls it. Great Cheese, perfect traditional tomato sauce, and great under carriage. Just a small amount of flop.

So I’ve had this place a couple of times and while it’s decent pizza, it’s not an 8.3 that the original review had. The crust has a good flavor, but the pizza doesn’t remind me of anything that I’ve really had in NYC. If I’d compare it side by side of some of their stuff, It may bump this down a bit. Now what I’m not saying is that it’s terrible. If you’re craving a pizza pie and in New Albany, it’s a good option outside of the chain places.
