Lezama’s Pizza

The place is actually called Lezamas. So here we are on the Friday before Reesester. Another pizza review. Close by. My son is going to the prom tonight, kind of freaky. And we’re going to get into it. I got to say, the slices look really good. Very big, and they look crunchy. And now it’s time to dive in. And with Gino’s being right across the street, they really have to make sure they’re on point. After the first bite, I got to say, it is nice and crispy, but it’s a tad bland. A little disappointing. Give me a little bite, or something. There is zero flop, and good crisp like I said, but bland. Come on now.

1 cheese slice, 12:55pm on a Saturday, $3.00 Pros: Delicious slice of pizza. Nearly a perfect pizza sauce well distributed under a good looking layer of mozzarella. Really nice looking well cooked crispy undercarriage with a very uniform color and consistency. Crust was a crispy yet doughy consistency which is on par with my favorites. Kid behind the counter had a good attitude. Cons: Nothing to complain about. It wasn't the most incredible pizza I ever ate but it was still fantastic. Verdict: This place was trashed by the other reviewers so I went in expecting the worst and got the best. Maybe they came in for an old, unfresh slice but mine was killer. The cheese was totally agreeable, nothing like a school cafeteria described by something else. Glad I tried them out in despite of previous disaster reviews. l Love New York Pizza.
