This pizza has some zesty sauce tang to it. Deep dish is a different style, and a different concept in Manhattan to say the least. Not the typical slice to have but if your in the neighborhood give it a try.

Detroit style pizza is like a hybrid of a Sicilian and Chicago deep dish so it’s not for everybody. Good crust and crunch on the crust. Sauce was good with a slight tang. Little doughy but that is expected from Detroit style. Not bad.

If I can give this less than a .1 I would. This was so bad I took one bite and almost threw up. The sauce was horrendous. Gave it to a homeless person and actually felt so bad about giving them something nasty. Never ever ever again.

This is my favorite style of pizza. If you like this style it is for you! The great part about it was how light the dough is which isn’t always the case with this style.

Obviously this isn’t the slice type of pizza, it’s Detroit style, nevertheless it’s a good pizza. The crust was crispy, the sauce had a tang to it, the pepperoni was spicy, dough was a bit soft, but I enjoyed the whole thing.

Not your traditional NY slice. To be fair, I ate this about 20 min after on my train ride home but a little disappointed on the quality of cheese and crispness of crust except around edges. I’m also not a huge fan of sauce on top but the sauce itself hits the mark. Price is higher than traditional Sicilian or slice but you are getting a lot more pizza

Alright Frankie! We are at Lions and Tigers and Squares Detroit Pizza. On Bite! Everybody Knows The Rules! Ahhhh I'm giving it a 4.2 too saucy, the crust is bad, and we need a little more cheese on it not the type of NYC pizza I'm expecting. Alright thats my review

Terrific Detroit pizza. Crust was perfectly crispy. Strong flavors in the sauce. A little light on cheese.

Let me just say wow.... I may have to visit Detroit.... 8 mile bound baby.... I’m gonna sit in my trailer park, get smacked around by Kim and tell Haley I love her all while making love to a Detroit Style slice! Where did this shit come from.... I’m very impressed... although apprehensive... it took 2 Staten Island New Yorkers to make Detroit pizza work in ny... That’s right... the owners of Artichoke also own and created this little gem in Chelsea...They visited Detroit on their food channel show and came back and said “hold my marinara sauce”... low and behold They married whatever the hell they do in the “D” with a slice of L&B and there you have it.... This is good stuff.. There is not much bad I can say in regards to this... the crust was perfect... I mean perfect.... not too Doughy nice buttery taste with the perfect crunch..... The sauce....mingggggg the sauce.... arguably one of the best sauces I have ever tasted on a pizza better yet on a bowl of spaghetti...hearty flavorful amazing.... the cheese had a nice Smokey crisp to it as well.... here is my knock.... the cheese was a little bit salty and needed a little more gooeyness but again near perfect.... 8.9 put it in the books.....Go! Hurry!

Baby Meatball Mamma Mia! Fire when it’s half and half, but truthfully I preferred the vodka side. Their sausage is meh (6.9 too sweet with the maple for me). Original is a solid(7.9) with the vodka in the same ranks, the Detroiter is a really good, spicier, works slice (8.2?). This baby meatball raised the whole tide for them. Crispy, cheesy crust, good meaty balance, smooth and tangy vodka sauce. Finish that with a little red pepper and you’ll thank me later... after your nap.
