It’s pretty good, but nothing exceptional like some of the scores indicate. Cheese is good, crust is good. Nice above average cheese pizza. I never had real New York style pizza so I have nothing to compare to, but I have had much better pizza than this. Not knocking this because I would get a plain cheese pizza again. I’ve tried their pepperoni and sausage pizzas before, and would never get those again. The sausage is not good and the pepperoni is always burnt. Just for comparison, I had a Dominos New York style crust pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. Sorry I’m not a Dominos fan, but it was better than this Little Pops. Not that this pizza is bad, but doesn’t live up to the hype others have given it. I’m curious what Dave would score this pizza

Tried this Little Pops at my son’s AAU tourney in Aurora. Not sure if this is affiliated with the Little Pops in Naperville. I will say I like the Naperville one a little better but as far as just slices go I think this is one of the better slices to pick up on a lunch that I’ve had in the Chicago area. Good undercarriage and good blend of crisp and chew for the crust. Sauce was ok. Not bad. Just ok. I gave Naperville NY Pops a 7.8 but this is still an awesome spot for a quick lunch slice.

This review is for the cheese pizza. One of the absolute best slices I've encountered. The taste of the dough is unbelievable. Perfect amount of sauce and the cheese was great. Only reason it wasn't a 9 was that the undercarriage could have had a little more crisp, but that could probably be fixed by asking for it well done. Wasn't a huge fan of the pepperoni, but that is really just a personal preference, because I don't really like the crisp pepperoni. Still highly recommended.

Wow, this little pie place known as “Little Pops NY Pizzeria Express” is a great find. When there’s no Chicago style pizza around in Chicago besides Giordano’s, you must seek out the only other alternative: New York style. Now you’d be surprised, but this is a solid NY style. There is a very good amount of sauce on the pie, and the cheese pulls apart like in a commercial. The mini pepperonis are flavorful and I delight in the perfect amount of time in the oven just to give it that nice crisp on top. Crust is airy but not a ton of crunch, which is okay for this. Lots of flop but forgivable in light of the flavor and it being NY style. Very good pizza though, if I’m ever in town again I will definitely be eating at this place. 7.6. That’s a review. P.S. I even got a picture with the owner (Little Pop)!! But unfortunately OneBite does not allow you to upload 2 pictures! Outrageous! I even emailed them but still no response… so I had to post a picture of the pie so y’all get a glimpse of how amazing it is. Ask me to see the picture of the owner🤗

Hands down BEST pizza in Illinois

As promised another review for the thin crust. Much better. Real flavorful sauce and salty cheese which is my personal favorite. Still doesn’t blow me away though. Maybe it’s just me but the NY style just seems too generic. There’s just not enough of a difference between something like this and a Sbarro in my opinion. Still really good pizza though.

Solid NY Pie. Grande cheese. Family from NYC. Owner is very serious about the art of pizza. Craftsmanship into good NY Style Pizza absolutely shows. Dave if you ever read this... It is easily some of the best NY Style you'll get in Chicago. Gotta make the trip. That's a review.

Killer pizza. Shown is the Might Mason pizza, 14”. Recommend requesting well-done on their pizzas as it gives them a bit more structure. I’ve had some droopy pizza from them when not requested. Great flavor and perfect crust. A bit pricey but really the only NY style pizza you will find in the area and the quality is on point.
