Really good pizza. Great tasting cheese and good crisp to the crust. Has to be one of the best outside of the new haven area.

No frills joint. Pie has a nice crisp. Some garlic and oregano coming through in the sauce, good fresh taste. The cheese could be little more flavorful but still solid. The coal fire brings some amazing char this pizza, one of the best in CT not in New Haven

Very weird experience. Really cool cash only place, you walk in and it’s straight out of the 1950’s. You can tell the oven is over 100 years old. As far as the pizza goes I was very disappointed. After reading all the positive reviews it was a major letdown. Cheese was tasteless, sauce was ok at best had a little tang to it. The crust was the only thing that kind of saved the pie. Perfect crisp and crunch. Nice guys working behind the counter, but a disappointing pizza.

120 year old coal fired brick oven; one of the oldest ovens in the world, makes some of the best pies. Originally opened up as a bakery, Little Rendezvous doesn’t get the recognition and credit it deserves. Bread oven to pizza oven, some of the best pies come right from this little-known place.

This pizza is pretty great. Easily the best pizza in the Southington Meriden area I’ve tried so far. Bummer the crust is so hard, I’m a crust guy and this crust just hurt my teeth so I gave up. Delicious otherwise. It would be a 7.5 if the crust wasn’t so hard.

Small cash only coal fire pizza place that only does pizza. No appetizers no pizza by the slice, just whole pizzas. Weekends can be crazy, but I ordered a large cheese and it was ready in 25 minutes. Pizza was crispy, crust was slightly charred, and the sauce had a pleasant little tang. Solid pizza place!

Once you get past the whole “I don’t know if I’ll make it out alive” aspect! This place is a true old school hole in the wall!! As you walk down a long hall way with flour all over the floor and get to where the magic happens... You will come across a 120 year old oven that’s pretty sweet!! The pizza is really good! Great coal fire char, tangy sauce and a good amount of cheese. The pizza in the back was a meat ball, which was out of bounds good! I gave that a 8.5! This place is a true CT legend!

One bite everybody knows the rules. Upon entering a ton of respect to keeping original and having the flour on the floor and making us feel like we are going to get whacked ! That being said would have liked a little more tang in the sauce but top 10 in ct. good pie ONE BITE !

Ordered the pizza at 11:30am for a 6:30pm pick up. Good thing because the wait would have been longer if I didn’t order early. Pizza sauce is tangy and the crust has a crisp crunch at first bite and chewy after. Highly recommended
