Little Rendezvous

Trying another legendary spot. Could have been just a tad crispier, but really good crisp on the edge. Sauce was fantastic and it truly is an experience watching the pizza chef at his work. 8.9, that’s a review.

I think Dave was way off on this one. No flavor in the sauce or dough. I’d eat it again, but I’d never go out of my way to get it.

Probably the most historic pizza spot I’ve been in CT. Great group of guys running this place and even better pizza. Also, my son loved the hearty sauce. Must try if you are in CT.

Honestly, the pizza was pretty damn good. I can see why Dave gave it a 9.1 We live about 15 mins away from Meriden, so when we got home the pizza was a bit cold. Probably would’ve tasted even better hot & right of the oven, but I don’t mind room temp pizza. Still was incredible & would go again and probably eat the pizza there. No flop to the pizza 🤝🏼

Exactly what I expected. Great flavor and good crunch.

I split the difference between my two scores. On the right side, the straight cheese pizza is a whopping 8.8. Great sauce and undercarriage with a solid crunch of the crust. Now on the left, is their Pesto Pie. Which is a SOLID 9.0 and my first 9.0 I’ve ever given. This is worth a travel trip. Call a good 3-4 hours ahead.

Absolute perfection, the way a pizza should be cooked, love the char, the flavor of the sauce and the team behind the counter was amazing. Had a lovely time chatting with the owner about the world of pizza. Anyone who wants to experience a handcrafted slice of heaven needs to come by and order a pie from these guys.

Had to call super early to get it. Chill staff. Very solid pie, like the crunchiness of the crust.

The wait is something but the pizza is out of this world. My only take away is the flowery aftertaste. But the pizza is phenomenal other than that and the wait to get it.

Ok. Let’s start by saying that we had New Haven apizza yesterday, we were kinda doing a pizza tour of Connecticut, drive all the way from Pennsylvania. Fantastic pizza! One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The crust was perfect! Super flavorful! Baked to perfection! Called ahead and the pizza was done when they said it would be, awesome!! Super cool place! Even better pizza!! We couldn’t stop talking about it all the way home!!

Dave got this one wrong!! I liked the sauce but undercarriage was thick, dense and uncooked. Kinda reminded me of a premade supermarket crust but worse. I literally gave the left overs to a homeless man. Def would not go back.

Pizza is good, we liked it but Dave must have been hungry. The dough is definitely different, sauce is great.

Dry yet still greasy, sauce that tastes like canned tomato paste and a crust that has the texture of uncooked pasta.

Good pizza!

Good but over rated. Wouldn’t wait 1-2hours for this pizza.
