Better than most pizza I had in Italy. Not all but most and all were 9+

Really good. No flop but no char on the under carriage. Great people working there as well.

Absolute perfection, the way a pizza should be cooked, love the char, the flavor of the sauce and the team behind the counter was amazing. Had a lovely time chatting with the owner about the world of pizza. Anyone who wants to experience a handcrafted slice of heaven needs to come by and order a pie from these guys.

Had to call super early to get it. Chill staff. Very solid pie, like the crunchiness of the crust.

The wait is something but the pizza is out of this world. My only take away is the flowery aftertaste. But the pizza is phenomenal other than that and the wait to get it.

Ok. Let’s start by saying that we had New Haven apizza yesterday, we were kinda doing a pizza tour of Connecticut, drive all the way from Pennsylvania. Fantastic pizza! One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The crust was perfect! Super flavorful! Baked to perfection! Called ahead and the pizza was done when they said it would be, awesome!! Super cool place! Even better pizza!! We couldn’t stop talking about it all the way home!!

Dave got this one wrong!! I liked the sauce but undercarriage was thick, dense and uncooked. Kinda reminded me of a premade supermarket crust but worse. I literally gave the left overs to a homeless man. Def would not go back.

Pizza is good, we liked it but Dave must have been hungry. The dough is definitely different, sauce is great.

Dry yet still greasy, sauce that tastes like canned tomato paste and a crust that has the texture of uncooked pasta.

Good quality pizza. Good cheese and ingredients wasn’t top tier for me.

Like stepping back in time when you see the early 1900s oven. Surprisingly thicker then you would think while looking at it in the box. Sauce and cheese on point. No coal/char underneath though, which I was expecting because it’s coal fired. Best in area though.

This is definitely a must try. The owner told us the history of the building which houses a 135 year old coal oven. The pizza was first class, one of the best I’ve had. Excellent job!

Great little hole in the wall with za that packs a punch. Dead silence filled the establishment - such that a pin drop could induce deafness. The crunch of the crust echoed wonderfully as result, creating a unique experience like no other

I had high expectations for this pie after seeing Dave’s review and rating. The cheese was nice and charred, and had some flavor. However, the crust was terribly chewy and tough, Because of that, I cannot recommend it to anyone. It is nowhere near as good as the “big three“.

The whole experience is other world. The owner is as dialed in as I’ve ever seen and the product is an all world pizza-overall ingredient ratio to crust as well as the consumption experience makes this place one of the best pizzas you’ll ever have.

Just a solid pizza through and through. Definitely worth checking out if in the area. Just call ahead.
