This review was done back in July 2020, not sure why it was taken down. I was looking for Ralph Ciffaretto but I heard he was all over the place these days.

I don’t know why when Dave reviews a pizzeria he doesn’t ask for it how he likes it. He does a disservice to the pizzeria. If he was reviewing steaks and he liked it well done he would never be satisfied with any steak. Saying that if you go to Lodi pizza and you like thin and crispy just ask for it. Because it truly is cooked to perfection. It’s one of the best pizzas I ever had. Im pissed I didn’t order two!

The crust is Deceiving it has a nice crisp crunch to it but at the same time it’s chewy personally I would like a little thinner. The sauce has a nice bite to it and the cheese is mellow overall nice NJ/NY slice better than most

I called in my pizza ahead of time, they told me 15-20 minutes. I showed up 22 minutes later, there was no cooked pie anywhere to be found. The guy behind the counter looked baffled and then without telling me, shoved a raw pie in the oven and walks away. I said: “Is that my pizza?” He said: “Yeah, it’ll be 10 minutes.” I should have walked out right then and there. But I waited like a moron, 17 minutes for this pie. No apologies, no free soda, no money off the price...so for their business practices, they get a ZERO. Even though they put a bad taste in my mouth to start, I will still give this pie a fair score. That being said, it’s pretty generic, nothing special at all. Sauce is ok, a notch above average. Cheese is standard, very basic and a little well done. The dough is firm, medium crisp, with decent crunchy crust. Maybe I would have enjoyed the pie a little more if they didn’t dig such a big hole in the customer service department. All things considered, I could have crushed them with a terrible rating, but this score is more than fair.

Consistent with The Prez and the pizza community, I gave it this score. I have had this pizza for years but this was the 1st time for an official review. It has remained the same ever since I was a kid with an ice cold coca cola. Tasty, does the job, old school italian joint. End of Review.

Solid pizza. Good if you’re driving by and if you live in the immediate area.

This score is based on the Sicilian slice. It was tasty and crisp. Needed salt though. Not bad, but I’ve had better. Their Old Fashion Bianca Sicilian is unique and pretty good, if that’s your thing. I’ll try a regular slice next time.

Very firm and crisp. A little greasy and too much cheese for my liking. Overall a very good pizza.

Excellent sauce. Excellent cheese. Crust very tasty and very well cooked. Would have rated a nine if it was just a little bit Less doughy

Excellent crisp on this pie, a solid 7.8. Also, Sicilian I’d give an 8.2, a Sicilian with sausage is an 8.5. The sausage is excellent.
