Sauce was delicious. Crust had a nice char. Good fresh mozzarella. Great Neapolitan style pizza.

I grew up two blocks from Lombardi’s and came here all the time growing up. For years, I was convinced that it was the best pizza in the world, and for a while, that may have been true. Unfortunately, it appears to have collapsed into tourist trapdom - while it was always pricy, I was very surprised to learn that it’s now served at only one size (12 inches, about equivalent to a personal pie) but still costs about the same. As for quality, it’s still a good pizza, but not at the heights that it once was (notably, the crust doesn’t have that special coal-fired feel that it used to have). Definitely not worth the price or wait - on the plus side, Rice to Riches is as good (and as overpriced) as I remember, if you’re in the mood for rice pudding!

The sauce is 2nd to none. It’s a darker sauce so paired with the brick oven it really gives it a deep taste.

It’s 17 degrees outside at the end of March on a Monday. It a vast land of uncertainty that is the world today, the only constant I can tell you at this moment is this pizza is a 7.2. Nice crispy curst and cheese, but sauce was just okay. Nice inside though, check it out you big city slicker.

lombard is should be the best in the world since he was basically the founder of pizza in the late 19th century /early 20th century!

Hot pizza, crisp, fantastic crust and the old world charm. Loved the old oven (pictured). We loved the pizza, but a bit more cheese would have raised the score.

Tourist trap. Although it maybe the first pizzeria in America, the pizza is horrible. Bland, dull taste. Save your money and time and enjoy one of the many other pizzas nearby.

All crisp, minimal flavor. Very underwhelming eating at NY's first pizzeria or whatever it is. It has amazing crisp & thinness if you're into that but to me it was pretty bland and just had flour all over the crust. For the quality ingredients & great crisp it earns a 6.9, but with rubirosa within walking distance, just go there.

Excellent pizza! Highly recommended! Number 2 on my list of east coast pizza!

This famous place gave birth to Patsies, Grimaldi's and Totonno's. This falls a little short than those but it os one of the best in Manhattan.

Pretty good pizza a little overrated definitely not among the heavy weight of NYC. A little touristy as well
