Lombardo's of Seaford Pizzeria

OK, here. We are on a gorgeous Tuesday. Heading back from doing some work in Fire Island. It’s senior night for baseball tonight. Crazy. Don’t know where the time went. Had to get in a Pizza review. This place had good scores. Lombardo‘s. In Seaford. Guy was in there telling me about this flour ban possibly coming up. Oh well. Anyway, onto the review. Very thin and light. Good crunch, Sesame seed crust. I like that. Definitely not your typical Long Island doughy floppy. Really good. Zero flop. Good pizza.

Unfortunately I was told the pie just came out and it was still hot…It was room temperature at best. It had a sesame crust which I ordinarily love, but just too cold to get any crisp. In fact, it was spongy. The flavor was good from what I could tee, and the undercarriage was decent.

Serious pizza. The sesame crust is what seals the deal.

Zero flop. Place rules.

The sauce is delicious. Good ratios. Strong crisp. The sunflower seeds in crust is personal preference and somewhat unique but not to my preference. Overall high quality.

Sesame Crust is to die for, sauce was perfect, good cheese not to much, little burnt but the flavor takes over, half to minus the burnt part but delicious

Very nice crisp crust with a great undercarriage. The sesame crust was a great surprise. The cheese was the right amount. The sauce was bland. It definitely needed more flavor.

Thick, bottom was dark but still super floppy

Some of the best pizza in the neighborhood, the crust is the best part of this pizza with the sesame seeds. Definitely a real solid slice

Delicious thin crust with little flop and slight char, sesame seed crust which is a personal preference, it’s very good. Sauce is excellent and well balanced with the cheese, maybe slightly on the cheesy side, but not too greasy. Great slice from an unassuming place, easily one of the best in the area

Lived in town for 20 years and just found this place. Came highly recommended. Thin, foldable, crust and tasty sauce. But the payoff is the sesame seed crust. It’s like a slice dessert. Very nice!

Definitely my favorite local pizza spot. The place looks a little beat up so that usually means the pizza is legit. The guy who makes it looks a little like Joe Maddon from the Cubs. Very good slice and love the sesame seed crust. Highly recommend.
