Lorenzo and Sons Pizza

Wow has this place gone down hill. I used to go here when I worked in the city. It was a solid mid 7s then. I just had it recently and it was horrible. Floppy no character Chachkie pizza. Big slice , small flavor.

I have to admit the fat slice has some sway here, but I smashed this after 8 pints

Lorenzo’s is easily one of the best slices of pizza I’ve ever had. I grew up on South Street. We went to Lorenzo’s all the time and for Dave to score it 6.5 is very low. This is definitely a pizza you would travel for.

Buttery back. Heavy on cheese to sauce ratio (lean towards cheese. LOTS OF FLOP. Solid, a go to from bars

Pretty good pizza and as you can tell it’s ginormous. If you are around, it is a place to go too.

Huge, cheesy floppy slice. Definitely drunk pizza but really tasty. Classic, NY style just massive.

Pretty big slices!! Really thin crust, cheese was solid and the sauce was just okay.

Whenever I’m in Philly, Lorenzo & Sons is a must stop! Whether you get a single slice or an entire pie, it’s perfection. That first bite is an instant reminder of that NJ/PA/NY taste that I grew up with in New Jersey!

To big.. no crunch but decent taste

This pizza has a sugary tomato sauce and lots of cheese. Is it the best pizza I’ve ever had? No. But it has the wow factor that sets it apart from the other pizzas. It’s the biggest slice of pizza you’ll ever eat AND location is iconic. Go birds
