Lorenzo's Pizza

After 7 slices man did this one give me the pizza sweats!!! On a bit of an upside down kick lately I finally made the trip out to Lorenzo’s as this looks to be their signature pie, rightfully so cuz it’s incredible!!!! The crust is everything you want from this style, crispy outer crust with great char underneath yet fluffy on the inside and had a very nice amount of aeration to the interior that just let it collapse upon each bite. The cheese is blanketed atop seamlessly to the top of the dough and was more melty and gooey than some others I’ve had lately. The sauce takes over as it should and it’s sweet and tangy, rich and is complimented by an absolute F**k ton of grated parm dialing up massive flavor. This place is a popular local spot but kind of flies under the radar compared to some of SI’s best, the quality of ingredients and build of this pie as well how good all the slices in the case looks deserves way more attention, absolute hidden gem. If your on the Island looking for a new spot to hit you have to come here!!!
