Standard conveyor belt pizza. In Utah conveyor belt is king, unfortunately. There is a reason we should only score based on cheese pizza, and Lotsa Motsa is the perfect example as too why. A typical cheese pie at this location is as plain and boring as it gets. There is nothing to hide the conveyored dough, cheap mozzarella, and canned sauce. It's exposed, and even though it's ok, it's nothing to get excited about. 5.9 is just about right. That said, a pepperoni pizza at Lotsa Motsa is heavenly drunk pizza. Something about the grease mixing with the rest of the otherwise boring elements makes the pie pop. 6.8 for the pepperoni, alas, we need no thrills and slight of hand. We want pizza at its most basic so as not too disguise its flaws, and Lotsa Motsa has plenty, as do most conveyor pies.
