The famous Lou’s. Fermented sour crust, perfectly done. Ordered out so I wanted to give the fresh rating. The gold standard deep dish pizza that all others must be compared to.

Excellent, flavorful sauce and crust. However, too much cheese, and … deep dish ain’t it

1st time back since Covid - it’s still good but it’s lost some of its character - I ordered some Frozen and had delivered but not as good as fresh. The buttermilk crust still has great flavour and cheese and tomato all good for Chicago Deep Dish but can’t give it an 8

Wonderful pizza, Mark thinks it’s one of the best and Vanessa hates it.

No flop. Good crispy undercarriage. Very fresh ingredients. Not enough sauce. A decent amount of bites with little-to-no sauce. The sauce is so good, that my score for this spot could’ve been way higher with added sauce.

Deep dish is not my preferred style of pizza and this is my first true In the city Chicago deep dish. Cheese is great. The sauce is actual tomatoes. Crust is thick but crispy. Great pie.

Lou’s Classic — the sausage disc never fails, the tomato sauce is second to none, and the butter crust if flaky with the right amount of crisp. The Quintessential Chicago pie.

We got “The Lou” added sausage, not a very traditional deep dish but great tomatoes and flavor from the three cheeses they put in this.

Sauce was very chunky. And we ordered it with the butter crust which imo made it worse

The only reason this pizza was even in the 6 range for me was the sauce. I hated the crust, overall the place was okay.

The sauce is amazing, the cultist is light and flaky. Very good pizza

Deep dish review. Cheese was great and appreciated the sweet tomato sauce. Crust was flaky. It’s simply just not my style. 5.6. Thin crust review. Literally tastes like Kirkland pizza. Save the money and get a frozen pie instead. Deep dish was much better. 3.8

Everyone raves about the crust. It’s been a year or so since I’ve had Lou’s so I had to try it again. And I don’t think the crust is that special. It’s different for sure more like bread than traditional crust. Sauce is great. Overall decent pie
