Pizza Review
A special edition review - the newly dropped Mike’s Hot Honey Deep Dish Pizza. This pie has EVERYTHING going on: sausage, giardinara, cupped pepperoni, topped with hot honey. This tastes like Chicago, through and through. There is a LOT of flavor going on. The crust is always a star of Lou’s but near the center there was a bit of sogginess, due to the shear about of ingredients, but outer crust still holds its crisp integrity. There was so much flavor going on it was hard to pinpoint a score. Anywhere 8.2+ seems right. Despite this being the hot honey pizza, the honey is faint, if any, really only captured in the cups of the ‘ronis. It seems to get lost in the sweetness of the sauce. It’s definitely a ride compared to your standard pie but definitely recommend before it’s gone for good!
