Pizza Review
Having lived in Chicago for awhile, the Lou’s on State Street always delivered the goods. Not a pizza you’d get regularly but every once in awhile or when out of towners visited it was always good, but this location is not the Lou’s I remember. I don’t know if maybe I just got a bad one, but it was clear the same care is not taken. Lou’s leaves their tomatoes chunky, but the pizza I got had literal full sized tomatoes on it that hadn’t been crushed even a little. Crust was also much drier than usual. Maybe a bad visit, but it wasn’t great. Edwardos is much much better deep dish compared to this Lou’s location. Still fine though just didn’t measure up to its own bar the Chicago locations set.
