Louie's Pizza

Bursting with flavor and a little thick for a grandma but this is the winning slice and I put it away so fast!! Fluffy and crispy more like a Sicilian crust but none the less awesome. Chunky garlicky sauce with fresh basil cooked in and the cheese was perfect as my teeth sank through with no effort. Literally exploding with flavor no question why it’s so famous.

After hearing about this place from a few people and on yelp, I drove 23 miles to come to check this place out. After circling the blocks for about 30 minutes I finally found a parking spot I paid my toll to park. I bought a pie and I was super excited to try it. Well I think it was overhyped. The flavor was just OK. Nothing spectacular. I have the same quality of pizza here in my neighborhood of Long island. So I was a bit disappointed.

Regular was a 6.3 but the grandma was a solid 7.

Razor thin. Very crispy. Very tasty.

I had both the grandma slice and the regular slice. The regular size was an above average 7.9 slice. The Grandma slice which it’s known for was outstanding. It was a little thick(that’s what she said) more like a Sicilian but the sauce and cheese really pop on the square giving it an 8.5

Solid crust, good sauce, just the right amount of cheese. The best local spot for sure and great on delivery.

This place is famous for its Grandma Pizza. It is thicker than NY style and has a lot of flavors going on. Crispy crust, fresh mozzarella, basil, and an almost tomato pie type sauce.

Solid slice, crust gets a bit stale as a leftover.
