This is THE best pie I’ve had in TX. Lou’s is an outstanding small woodfire pizza shop in the middle of nowhere Del Rio TX. Their influence comes directly from New Haven/NYC pizza and they nailed it. Not only do they have a crispy hand tossed dough, premium ingredients, mozzarella cheese, and a sweet sauce, but they all mix together amazingly for an epic taste. This is my first TX pizza into the 9’s and the amazing combination of top-tier ingredients is what put it there! I highly recommend to anyone near Del Rio or even if you want to make the trip from SA. 9.1, that’s the review!

A lot of flop for a medium sized slice. Sauce and cheese seemed pretty basic, but the crust had enough flavor from seasoning and char to get the score up a bit.
