Sauce kind of overpowered the taste

A bunch of coworkers hyped up this spot. I work a block away and finally tried it for lunch. I got a Sicilian pepperoni and hot honey pepperoni (specialty slice apparently) for $18 dollars. That’s insane for two slices. Nothing about this pizza justifies that price. Service was average. Pizza was barely warm when I got it. The hot honey triangle slice was absolute garbage. Greasy is an understatement - the slice was soupy. Terrible. The bread was fine, too much dough for my person taste, not crispy enough. The Sicilian was better. Still too greasy. Way too much cheese, not enough sauce. Pepperoni Sicilian is a greasy slice but the amount of cheese in combination with the pepperoni made this slice too fucking greasy. The bread was on point. I’d want to try a different Sicilian slice but never going back because the price is ridiculous. Avoid unless you have money to burn on very greasy pizza.

Delicious pizza. A bit thick, but crispy crust. The undercarriage is incredible. Solid sauce to cheese proportion.

Good crunch and under carriage - basil is a nice touch

Very good pizza. Sauce was a perfect blend that wasn’t too sweet or bland. Very firm with a nice crunch.

Outstanding crust, lacking sauce but super solid flavor

Great Pizza. My favorite slice was the white slice, very nice bar there as well.

This was my first stop in NYC and it was certainly a good choice. The crisp was phenomenal and the cheese and sauce were just as good. If you like a paper thin pizza with structural integrity and flavor, this is for you. I highly recommend it.
