Best pizza I have ever had. This one wasn’t made by the man himself, so the air bubble was present. But the cheese is perfect, savory sauce and perfect crunchy pepperoni. Can’t believe how thin the dough was. Amazing.

Very good NY style pizza. The toppings were very good. The dough tasted good very crispy. However I didn't like that the crust was really tough. And don't like their attitude of making everyone wait instead of just getting a resy account. I got take out but would never wait hours for this pizza. I will only wait 3hr for pizza if it's Sorbillo in Napoli because they make the best pizza in my opinion. Lucali is just very good pizza not the very best.

Really lives up to the hype and there’s only one place I’d rather have which is Joe and Pats but it’s worth the wait and money

Flavorful, organic ingredients and unique taste. If your a plain corner pizza guy this might not be your slice, but for those that like the pop of aroma and taste, this is your slice

Crust to pizza ratio is way off. Barely any sauce. You can’t have a 9.3 score and without a great sauce. The crust taste like pita bread. Any Staten Island coal fired brick oven BS taste equivalent or better. $28 for a pie is wayyyyyyy overpriced. Ok pizza, but top ratings in the world is ABSURD. Everybody who lives in that neighborhood, aren’t from New York 🤷🏻♂️.

A hybrid between a NY style and neapolitan pizza. Crust being the star of the pizza. Very good pie, only negative is how the basil were placed on the side of the box almost as decorations as opposed to direct on top.

Light, thin, airy mix of Neapolitan and New York Style. Between the crust, sweet sauce, and cheese, there is so much flavor. Spectacular pie!

Well probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. The cheese and sauce ratio, freshness of the basil and the crust perfect. Initially I was a little skeptical of the crust being a wee bit underdone by the looks of it but boy oh boy this one takes the cake thus far.

Pie with garlic, basil & mushroom- A disappointing score considering I held this pizza to high expectation. First, the service was subpar; the server was paying no attention to our pie, which had been sitting for a considerable amount of time prior to being handed over to us. Needless to say, the pie was not piping hot. Secondly, while the crust and mozzarella were phenomenal, the sauce, while homemade, was too sweet for my personal appeal. Finally, Lucali sprinkles grated parmesan all over the pie which takes a sting out of the flavor of the mozzarella. It additionally tells me that they lack having adequate confidence in their ingredients. It’s a major disappointment, especially when taking into account that this is a full point below Portnoy’s review, and based on the naked eye, this is becoming more of a commercialized pizzeria, as they are significantly lacking appropriate customer service.

Cheese pie: not as great as most say it is; top-notch ingredients in terms of quality (cheese, dough, sauce, fresh basil); basil does not go well with the pizza, adds a nice flavor, but I would take it off before biting into the actual pizza; too floppy for my liking, cheese falls off very easily, leaves you with about a bite with cheese per slice; dough is SPECTACULAR, don't think I've had better; decently crisp, but definitely not crisp enough; overall, slightly underwhelming because it seems the pizza doesn't add up the sum of its parts, albeit VERY GOOD parts, perhaps because it is a bit sloppy; also, could definitely use some quality control on the garlic, both my friend and I ended up biting into an entire clove of garlic each (8.7/10)
