Lucali

Was a POTA to queue and wait, and like Dave, its not my style...but you can't help but respect the quality of the pizza. The crisp, the sauce, the cheese, basil etc. Its a superb pizza.

Near perfect. Light and fluffy. You don’t feel too full after eating. But somehow still crispy and has an amazing crunch to it. Best crust I’ve had yet and the sauce is spectacular. Calzone was equally awesome. I could do without the basil but besides that…worth the hype in every way.

Perfection, crust, sauce, everything

Light like an angle made it. Crust is crunchy/crispy at the top and more chewy/crisp in the center which is perfect. Sauce and crust objectively perfect. Cheese subjectively amazing. Contender for best pie I’ve ever had.

Lives up to the hype for sure. Simple and good. Quality ingredients & amazing ambiance inside. Thin crust with a good chew that holds up to all the cheese & sauce. Was fairly easy to get a table on a Thursday night @ 5pm by getting in line around 3:45pm so don’t be intimidated by what you hear.

Went on a 5000 mile journey to eat at Lucali, it didn't disappoint, would make the trip any day. Absolutely incredible, emotional experience. The best pizza I have ever eaten, and it was the last on our New York adventure. The blend of cheeses and the crisp crust was to die for, the aroma and flavour of the wood oven really came through. An overall tremendous experience. There is nothing I could say or do to make this pizza better.

The photo might not do it justice. Incredible pie. Light, looks cheesy but doesn’t have a lot of cheese… well worth the hour and a half wait.

Best pizza I have ever had worth the wait got to eat inside

The hype is real. Lucali is a very special place. Simple, no flop crust, perfect char, fresh ingredients. Just good pizza. The wait to get in will piss you off.

Look it’s a Chef JB review. The pizza was fucking fantastic to say the least. JB loves his SAUCE, so this one came with the heat. Lucali you snapped with the sauce. This sauce is the experience in its self, flavor OVERLOAD. Truly amazing from the fresh garlic, fresh basil, and amazing tomatoes. The cheese was hand pulled mozzarella and was the best cheese pull ever. The crust had the best crunch of my life. Buttttttt the line to get the reservation was ridiculous. Hour and half wait to get a seat at 10 pm like bruh come on Lucali. I get there is limited seats and I got to see David Beckham but come on. The pizza was fantastic, the waitress was absolutely in the right for her spot btw. Shoutout the wait line from 10/13. But the experience is a once in a lifetime mobster classic Italiano spot that is magnificent. Love you Lucali, but please make a line for a slice to-go. DP you did us well brotha. But fuck that line, also waitress next time I promise to have your back! CHEF JB-we outta here!
