I saw the review of the Miami location was not up to the original, but I just had to try it when I was here in Miami. Without question, this pizza has dramatically improved. We got to Lucali as soon as they opened, when the oven was hot and the pizziaolos were not rushed. Now my previous favorite was Di Fara ... this was Di Fara on steroids. The pie was charred to perfection, and the toppings were also exceptional. But the kicker was putting some of my meatball and ricotta on the sausage pie! Absolute bliss! Again, my favorites of Di Fara, Sally’s, and Mozza must all move over a bit. Lucali in Miami crushed it. I cannot wait to go back to NYC for the original. Oh, lastly ... I left John’s on Bleeker. Another classic.

The best pizza in Miami. Signature plain pie is the way to go. Calzone/sauce even better.

I mean WOW! We are heee at Lucali we came here because Dave had passed by here and he gave it a pretty good score and my goodness ima have to go higher than he did because this is one of the best pizza spots in Miami for me now. The char on the bottom of the pizza amazing crisp. Sauce with a noce little tang to it cheese very tasty even the crust alone was great. All around great pizza. I will come back! With the always special guest my sweet lady she went ahead and gave this 9.5. I couldnt agree more 9.5 thats a review!

There’s just something about this pizza that makes it the best pizza in Miami. Deliciously light!

If you don’t already know about this place here’s another killer spot for pizza. The crust here is magical!! You really get that great char. Each one comes out identical as you can see they hold high standards in the craftsmanship, the pizza maker looks like he’s been doing this his whole life. If anyone knows about how a restaurant decides to open up a second shop in Florida, the Florida location is always inferior. Despite all that, This was still easily in the 8’s. Can’t wait to try the original in Brooklyn

Not as good as Brooklyn, mostly because of the vibe. The pizza is still excellent, and at the end of the day only two cities are lucky enough to have a Lucali.

Best pizza I’ve had in years. Small flop on the end and would prefer less crust width, otherwise we’re looking at 9’s!!!

Thin crust, not soggy, great sauce and cheese. Pretty, pretty, damn good. Calzone was better. 😀
