It’s been a while. COVID has been brutal so I haven’t been traveling as much to hit new spots. My friend’s girlfriend said that is her favorite pizza having grown up in Lisle, so I was excited to try it. It looked really good opening the box. It’s definitely unique. The dough is flaky with an interesting texture. Cheese was cooked well. Pepperoni and sausage are pretty standard. What I didn’t understand was I couldn’t get much flavor from the sauce. I couldn’t tell if there wasn’t enough, or just needs some work. Overall it was fine. Some people clearly love it, but not toward the top of my list by any means.
