This is my first time trying Luca’s pizza. The highlight of this pizza is the dough. The dough is very flavorful and they used the perfect amount for a Brooklyn style pie. There is some flop but nothing substantial. The undercarriage was crispy but definitely could have been crispier. The cheese was delicious and they used the perfect amount. The cheese was browned in places but not burnt. I was very impressed with how this pie looked when I opened the box! The sauce is where this pizza was lacking a bit. The sauce tasted good, but there wasn’t much sauce at all. If you like saucy pizza- their Brooklyn style may disappoint. This is hands down some of the best pizza (if not the best)that I’ve had in the capital region. I would definitely recommend trying Luca’s!

This is one beautiful pizza pie. Could have spent a little longer in the oven but this is a top tier example old school Italian restaurant style pizza. Delicious crust, no flop with a fold, perfect ratio of sauce and cheese, loaded with fresh delicious ingredients. It’s that real guinea shit

This is classic bar pizza. Super floppy though. Need a bit more crisp throughout in order to bring it up a notch. It’s pretty decent but there are better options in the area. Not bad overall.

Pizza review time! Well, I headed to the Schenect to to go to Mangino’s Gourmet Market, FB page showed they were open, nope, closed, looked deserted. Anyway, I went to the One Bite app and pulled up Luca’s. I didn’t know what to expect. It’s like a tiny little dive bar with a restaurant or a little restaurant with a tiny little bar. I don’t know. So I ordered a cheese pizza from the bartender that surprised when I walked up and she was having a not so fresh air break. No slices or anything like that, cooked to order, restaurant style. It’s pretty much a bar pizza, 14” 6 cut. A little grease, not bad, not thin but not too thick. Good pie, better than all that fat, thick stuff I kept running into in Ballston Spa and Saratoga. I would definitely go if I was in the Nott St. neighborhood area, or Schenectady in general. Slight flop, low crisp, but good pizza. 7.4, that’s my review

Not a bad pie. First appearance passed the test, crust was on point, sauce was steady. Worth the try if you find yourself in the Schenectady area.
