Firm crunch base. Good Sanmarzano tomatoes, pretty good spot overall

One bite everyone knows the rules. Despite all the rave Luca’s gets from locals, this pie is mid and overpriced. Flavor is boring, cheese and sauce have a pretty plain flavor. On the bright side there’s not much flop or grease but Luca’s is no better than your average pie.

The Sicilian (pan) is the perfect medium between a thin crust pizza and a bonafide Chicago deep dish. It’s like $24 for the 14” but you can only eat 2 pieces before you’re stuffed. It’s a heavy duty pie and is top notch.

Overall a decent pie. Not too crisp of a undercarriage could do with some more crunch. Solid sauce but a lil grease pooling.

For the price, it’s disappointing. Has a lot of crunch to it but could have used more flavor. It’s not bad by any means but at the price point I thought it’d be closer to a Villa Nova score.
