Man oh man, my neighborhood slice shop. It’s a wonderful day whenever I eat here. This is my favorite place to go for a beauteous slice of pizza. If you’re looking for the best classic Brooklyn spot or best slice shop in the world you’ll find it here. Great prices, wonderful owner, and unbelievable pizza. The fresh mozz slice is my favorite but I always get a plain as well.

Near Perfect NY plain slice (9.4). Gio was fortunately there when we went, and made our pie. He was super cool and recommended some specialty slices as well. The Vodka slice was surprisingly amazing as well (8.7). Moz slice was also good, but not up to par with the plain cheese imo (8.4). Overall, absolutely amazing, best spot in NYC.

No frills, quintessential NYC slice. No complaints, but wish there was a little more tang to push into the high 8s. Not thick but also not super thin. I wonder if Gio would’ve made it differently

Excellent. It delivered on every thing I wanted. Crispy along the entire bottom. Sauce and cheese pair REALLY well together on this pizza. My favorite round pie slice in NY.

Thin crust with a crunch. Sauce is great. Ratio of sauce and cheese is perfect! Definitely give this a try if you find yourself in Brooklyn!

If John’s on Bleeker is the benchmark and considering I got reheated slices 8.9 for fresh 8.8 for regular. I’ll amend if I ever get fresh pie and score differs. Definitely going back only 2 blocks from work…

Great stop for pizza while visiting from Pittsburgh, along with friends from Munich Germany. The chicken rolls are also a 9.4! Super friendly staff and owner!

Not a bad slice. Ratios of ingredients were spot on. Cheese was cooked to perfection. For a brick oven style pizza, this was excellent. Crust was a little bit dense and on the chewy side despite its thinness compared to other places I’ve eating at. I prefer more of a fluffy interior when it comes to dough preferences.
