Everything about Luigi’s was worth the trip! The owner Gio became one of my favorite people within 5 minutes of meeting him! The interior is everything an old school pizzeria should be! Nostalgia oozes out of this joint!! Oh yeah and the pizza!?!? Phenomenal!!! I’m not a regular slice guy and I’m saying it’s probably the best regular slice I’ve ever had. I give the Margherita slice just a slight edge, but both are incredible. I could hang out there all day!!! ⭐️ Regular Slice - 8.8 ⭐️ Margherita 9.0

No frills, quintessential NYC slice. No complaints, but wish there was a little more tang to push into the high 8s. Not thick but also not super thin. I wonder if Gio would’ve made it differently

Excellent. It delivered on every thing I wanted. Crispy along the entire bottom. Sauce and cheese pair REALLY well together on this pizza. My favorite round pie slice in NY.

Thin crust with a crunch. Sauce is great. Ratio of sauce and cheese is perfect! Definitely give this a try if you find yourself in Brooklyn!

If John’s on Bleeker is the benchmark and considering I got reheated slices 8.9 for fresh 8.8 for regular. I’ll amend if I ever get fresh pie and score differs. Definitely going back only 2 blocks from work…

Great stop for pizza while visiting from Pittsburgh, along with friends from Munich Germany. The chicken rolls are also a 9.4! Super friendly staff and owner!

Not a bad slice. Ratios of ingredients were spot on. Cheese was cooked to perfection. For a brick oven style pizza, this was excellent. Crust was a little bit dense and on the chewy side despite its thinness compared to other places I’ve eating at. I prefer more of a fluffy interior when it comes to dough preferences.

Luigi’s Pizza is hands down the best pizza in America. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and it’s stayed just as amazing. Gio and his staff are the sweetest, and the atmosphere is pure old school Brooklyn.

I'll admit I came into this one with high expectations and was anticipating a let down. This is a legit NY slice. Excellent crisp and the slice of pepp was sublerb. The vibe inside Luigi's and out on the block made the for a memorable experienced. Luigi's is a must try spot.
