Regular: really thin slice. Very crispy, delicious sauce and quality cheese. Excellent slice 9.1 Grandma: beautiful undercarriage, delicious all around. One of the best grandmas I've ever had 9.3

After being let down by Lucali I decided to get some to go from a classic NY pizza establishment. I’m glad I did. I can see how this place has been around for almost 50 years. I ordered a regular, a grandma, and a Sicilian and each one was great in their own right. Immediately when I took a bite I got hit with great flavor from the combination of a thin crust good tomato’s and flavor from high quality mozzarella. Gio perfected the craft of providing NY pizza. Nothing was bland. Every element is quality ingredients that shows in the flavor. The Sicilian has a different cooked down sauce and grandma is also full of flavor. I enjoy the flavor of the olive oil used to grease the pans on the squares. Provided a nice crispy crunch. This is a classic NY establishment that can’t be missed.

Fire pizza worth the trek from manhattan

I completely agree with Dave. This is great pizza. Perfect crisp with good crust, amazing sauce, and the perfect amount of cheese. The place was very nice and I would highly recommend.

Great NY style slice. Good crunch that leads into chewiness. The sauce is perfect.

Not crazy

I initially tried the regular slice and even though it was good, the square was even better. I didn't even get a chance to take a photo of the square slice but my score is for the square slice, not the regular. The regular slices get an 8.4. Great pizza and the owner Gio is a really cool guy!

Full disclosure, this trip was a few months ago but was the only marquee review not logged on here. Luckily, a memorable one. An immaculate pizza - crispy, classic, traditional, all the words. A work of art and good for 2nd best on my all time scale as of today.
