Luigi's Pizzeria

This review is actually for Luigi's Pizza in Hermitage. It used to be on the app, but I guess it disappeared? It's my first review in May, and my first review in Mercer county! I've officially tried a pizza in every PA county bordering Ohio. This pizza was pretty good and different. The crust was somehow spongy and stable. There was no flop even thought it felt like the undercarriage wasn't very firm. The sauce I guess had small pieces of banana peppers in it which I thought was very weird. The cheese was very good and tasty. I really enjoyed this pizza, and it could've been in the 8s if they subtracted the banana peppers in the sauce. Put this place back on the app (I guess they fixed the glitch and it’s back).

Pie slightly below average. Sauce tastes store bought and undercarriage is like soft bread. Provolone does not offer much flavor. Green peppers on the plain pizza saved this one.

Incredible taste. Dough has a great crisp yet has a soft heart warming center. More flop than I’d like but I ordered extra cheese so that weighed it down some. Overall I’ve given in to my girlfriends opinion, its our favorite option in the area.

Pretty good, not a bad pizza

Decent crisp but doughy in the middle, sauce doesn't have anything that stands out. I like a salter tangy taste. Not a great undercarriage either, but still worth stopping.

Good pizza, balanced, good flavor. Dough was a little under done - I'm going to write it off as human error. Would definitely order again.

Good Pie. Nothing stands out, but a solid medley (sauce,cheese, undercarriage). Peppers are a nice touch on the "regular" pizza. Good value, cash only.

Perfect flop

So I’m from NY and I drive down to hermitage PA every summer and any chance I get to get this pizza....this is something that we go out of our way to get as well. My overall rating of this is a 9.7 and I’ve seen a lot of lower reviews, not really sure what those people are talking about but I can assure you this is worth all 9.7 points that I’m giving it... pizza is very good one of the best I’ve ever had, crust is Crispy and doughy all at the same time and that’s what really puts this place on the map. As far as the sauce goes they have really mastered the sauce recipe considering being in business for 30+ years. The sauce is not too sweet but not too robust at the same time.... overall GREAT PIE... only imperfection is that the toppings and cheese tend to slide off the slice... overall highly recommend this place
