Come on now!!! Who rated this a 9? Or even an 8+? The crust is heavy, slightly undercooked, the sauce is non existent, the cheese is heavy. This is not even a 6! An 8 you travel for, and in todays gas shit show, it had better be good. Maybe living in CT for 23 years spoiled me. I do know californians should not rate pizza!
Now! The place had great atmosphere… very inner city Italian feel, it was also busy, so what brings people in? Not the pizza.. but it did say “world famous”. What world? Who knows..
id definitely try any of the specials they had up..
