Been a fan of Mack & Manco for 50+ years, mostly from numerous trips to OCNJ where Manco now reigns. Today’s Mack’s was good, but doesn’t live up to recent Manco visits. Tasty but a bit too greasy and cheesy, and needs more sauce. Offseason and COVID probably didn’t help...

Finally decided to try the legendary macks pizza in wildwood. Thia was on the boardwalk closer to the convention center. Cheese cooked well done. Good sauce to cheese ratio. Crust on point. 7.1

Very thin with little to no flop. Impressive. Solid crips overall. Good balance of cheese and sauce. Definitely go here if you’re in the area.

This pie was pretty much all chew, no crisp but flavor wise it’s totally solid. Sauce is excellent and dough is flavorful. Cheese is on the heavy side but not so excessive that it’s a bad thing. Will definitely call Mack’s again.

Sloppy but great sauce and cheese. Dough is soft but good.

Gave it another shot. Definitely better than the first time. Crispy crust. Good sauce. A little greasy though

This pizza was amazing. Straight as an arrow no flop. Light and thin crust that was crunchy crispy. The only thing that kept it under a 9 was the Grease. The taste was so good I will miss this during the winter.

Pretty solid slice. Great flavor, cheese was good, and crust had nice char. I just wish it was crispier as it’s got a good amount of flop. The crust on the edge has a bit of crunch though. Tastes much much much better than Sam’s. Avoid Sam’s like the plague and come to Mack’s or get Poppi’s if you are not on the boardwalk.

Mack’s is usually known as one of, if not, the best pizza in Wildwood NJ. In my opinion, it is extremely overhyped. Here’s why: The good: The pizza tasted good. I mean, that’s the whole goal, right? Let me rephrase that. The CHEESE PAIRED WITH THE SPICES tasted good. The spices and cheese really made this pizza taste somewhat good. Honestly though, aside from that and the somewhat good crust, this was a bad pizza. Those two things saved it from a below 6 or below 5 rating. The bad: Where do I begin? This pizza was a grease haven, the pizza flopped and had no crunch at all (as I said, crust was good, but needed that extra crunchiness), little to no sauce at all which killed the pizza....and I have to say it again for emphasis, GREASE. In order to make this pizza a great pizza, they need to increase the amount of sauce on the pizza, cook it longer as to add crunch, and do something to reduce the amount of grease. All in all, decent, mid-tier pizza. I probably won’t get Mack’s again. Save yourself from a grease induced headache (yes, I literally have one) and seek elsewhere for pizza. You’ll thank me later.

Classic wildwood boardwalk pizza. Good pizza...Great after 10 beers.

The battle of the boardwalk..great flavor only knock is the crust was doughy and chewy. Delivery played a factor, but Mack’s knocks off Sam’s.
