Pizza Review
Mack’s is usually known as one of, if not, the best pizza in Wildwood NJ. In my opinion, it is extremely overhyped. Here’s why: The good: The pizza tasted good. I mean, that’s the whole goal, right? Let me rephrase that. The CHEESE PAIRED WITH THE SPICES tasted good. The spices and cheese really made this pizza taste somewhat good. Honestly though, aside from that and the somewhat good crust, this was a bad pizza. Those two things saved it from a below 6 or below 5 rating. The bad: Where do I begin? This pizza was a grease haven, the pizza flopped and had no crunch at all (as I said, crust was good, but needed that extra crunchiness), little to no sauce at all which killed the pizza....and I have to say it again for emphasis, GREASE. In order to make this pizza a great pizza, they need to increase the amount of sauce on the pizza, cook it longer as to add crunch, and do something to reduce the amount of grease. All in all, decent, mid-tier pizza. I probably won’t get Mack’s again. Save yourself from a grease induced headache (yes, I literally have one) and seek elsewhere for pizza. You’ll thank me later.
