Mac's Pizzeria & Grill

Split a pizza with a co-worker tonight. My half was the plain cheese of course. Couple of the reviews were saying this was good pizza, or best in the area. That’s definitely not the case. Giuseppe’s is a stone’s throw away from this place. It’s a real Italian spot. Open since like 1929. Giuseppe’s has a really unique pizza worth trying. Mac’s is Birthday Pizza. Like when you were a little kid and your parents got you pizza for your birthday. The doigh has zero character. Just a round piece of bread. Sauce was nothing to speak of, and the cheese was heavy, and rubbery. Take one bite and it would pull all the cheese off the slice. It was a mess. Just look at my half?! Slop city. Got a random pepperoni and 2 mushrooms on it. Thats how you know a place has zero passion in what they do. Every time i tried to pull a slice out of the box, half the cheese from the adjacent slice tried to come with it. I’d rather have Little Caeser’s honestly.
