a lot of flop, little bit of charcoal on the under carriage, perfect amount of sauce and cheese, crust is crispy and flavorful

Closest thing I’ve had to NY style on Oahu. Very thin (a bit too thin) and the crust was a bit chewy. Overall good quality, structure and flavor.

So, after a month in business, Mad Pie is already established as the best pizza on island, probably in the state. A must visit shop if you are on Oahu. The fungo slice is the best mushroom pie I have ever had. Mad Pie’s White Iverson > Best Pizza’s White And don’t forget to order a pistachio chocolate chip cookie. Original Review (8/24/25): 8.4 Opening day jitters, but I see lots of potential. Overall, the bread is incredible. The cheese slice is a bit too cheesy for my liking, but the tang of the sauce, cheese, and sourdough makes me look the other way. The pepperoni slice was cold, but still very good. Need to try it hot. The Fungo slice was one of the best mushroom slices I have ever had. Again, first day jitters, but already a contender for best pie on island.
