Made In New York Pizza

To summarize this best I can, it’s upscale tourist pizza. I’ll explain the slices and get to what I hated about the place. Regular slice was a 7.2. Pretty average, very greasy slice. Upside down was not heated up enough but good crunch and sauce. That was a 7.5. Last was the margherita. Best of the bunch at 7.7. Really fresh, nice cheese and sauce. As I’m eating the last slice I’m realizing how hard the place is trying to look like an old school NY pizza place and failing. From the giant Sinatra on the wall (New Jersey native), to the subway tiles, and lastly the fake NY ceiling tiles. Really left me thinking the place was fugazi despite the solid pizza I ate.
