Madison's Pizza

Decent cheese slice. Good crisp. Nothing spectacular but does the trick. Grandma slice is nice, nice tang with the sauce and fresh basil.

More doughy than crunchy. Good undercarriage, not much flop, decent flavor.

Need more sauce!

I’m puzzled. Some of the reviews look like garbage, but the pizza i just had was great. I got referred here from a friend who lives in Albany and it did not disappoint. There must have been 12 specialty pizzas in the display case. The margerita sicilian that i had was fucking awesome. Garlicky sauce, fresh mozz and some really good dough. I’d rate it like an 8 flat. The regular slice was one of the best i’ve had in the Capital region other than maybe Pope’s up in Saratoga. Crispy, cheese was slightly greasy but no drip. I wish there was a smear more sauce. I’d rate it like a 7.8. I’m glad that i decided to go here. Service was great too. Some idiot with a pony tail tried to cut in front of me, and the guy behind the counter told him to get back.

All right everybody it’s pizza review time. Made a stop at Albany Med to see a friend that works there, on my way back I ended here on Madison Ave, next to Bogies at Madison’s. Very, very basic white dough pizza. No bad flavors, but no really good tastes. The dough tasted more like dough than crust. Little floppy and dry. By the way there are some outrageously high scores posted here. This is basic, non offensive college town pizza. 5.5, that’s a review

Here we go, first review in the Albany area. Some of the best flop I’ve ever seen on a slice, crust is great, little crunch to it, dough has a slight crunch to it which is surprising given the flop. Perfect sauce to cheese ratio, that’s a big one. Not greasy at all. Been around great pizza my entire life, this ones up there with the giants. Great slice, well done Madison’s. Legendary on campus.

Good drunk pizza. Sober I don’t know if it would be as high as a 6.4 nonetheless it was enjoyable when I indulged. Slices could have been a little bit more crispy but I was pleasantly surprised with the cheese, good flavor and flexibility. Not a whole lot of tang with the sauce. The crust was average, not bad not great. A good drunk college pizza joint. Nothing more.

Perfect pizza if you're intoxicated or a broke college kid.

Some of the best pizza in the Albany area. I love Hawaiian pizza and the ziti pizza was top notch.
