Maggio's Pizza

I was stuck in 5 hrs up to big bear and chose this pizza place to satisfy my hunger. Needless to say, may be the worst decision I’ve ever made. The crust tastes like a less flavorful ritz cracker (if your mind could imagine such an atrocity), and I actually threw up 25 mins later after eating the pizza (may not have been from the pizza but hey)

Sauce was great. Pepperoni was fresh. I enjoy a crisp crust. This crust had the flavor texture of a Ritz cracker; light crunch and just dissolved from there.

A bit oily but overall good pizza

Best pizza I’ve had in Big Bear so far. Good flavor but the crust was kinda spongey and thick. Not too bad tho, i would get it again

Good Pizza!

I don’t know what these people are thinking giving this place sub-6 scores. Obviously not pizza connoisseurs because this pizza is absolutely a mid-7 score. Slightly above generic pizza, definitely best when fresh out the oven. Cheese had good slimyness to it. Crust was astonishing but not crunchy, it would almost melt in your mouth but it was neither doughy/moist or crunchy. Sauce was good not great but do-able. 7.3 for this Italian joint. That’s the review.

I don’t know what other people were tasting. my pizza was very good the crust was not to heavy it was light and airy. The cheese had good flavor. I’d recommend this plus all day. Remember it is up in the mountains

Pizza is one of those things that when it’s good it’s good and when it’s bad it’s still kinda good. That being said it hurts to give a score lower than 5. Especially since everyone here is so friendly. Store is amazing. Very welcoming and food is served fast. But the pizza is thick and rigid. Barely any sauce on it, but the cheese was good. Would be a great family place however, so I will recommend this place. Overall not bad. Again, the workers were insanely nice.

Terrible

A heavy slice!...Thin and soft crust didn't help hold up the weight of all the cheese. Pepperoni falls off and one bite pulls all the cheese with it. Very oily. Save your money and get a calzone

Pizza isn’t bad, crust is bland.

Sauce is really good, sweet tasting, cheese is fresh. Crust is super bland and boring but over all it’s good pizza!
