Mama Jesus, in the heart of the fun area of Newport. Even on a Tuesday night, it’s completely packed. Staff is beyond friendly, and you would think that that wouldn’t make the place extra ordinary, but it really helps. The food is as good as any Italian restaurant ever, and they have a few wonderful specialties there, pink sauce is super famous, and their pizza is crispy, lots of tang, and very little flop. Maybe a touch greasy, but not too much. Come down, even while you’re waiting, ask for some bread, and some coffee, they’ll totally take care of you.
