I ordered a small deep dish 5-meat pizza from mama mel's. This is my second time trying them; last time i tried the normal stl style. They told me it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. Last time they were late, so i showed up after 40 minutes, and it was ready and still warm. They call it a "small" but these are four large slices that will definitely fill you up, for only about $20. The crust was cooked perfectly; golden brown with that perfect detroit style crunch. The cheese was good but there was not nearly enough; bread to cheese ratio was almost 10:1. Sauce was very tomato-y and tasted like out of a can, although still wasn't terrible. Toppings were really good and definitely added to the pizza. It wasn't too messy to eat either. Overall great pizza and great value, and will try their philly pizza next time.
