Mama's Boy

This pizza is good. There is a good balance of cheese and sauce. Each slice is floppy with a good crisp. The crust is also pretty good. This score is for the cheese pizza. But the other slices, such as the pepperoni and mushroom pizzas, had even better flavor. I wanna re-visit and try some of their other slices.

Mama’s Boy is hands down the best pizza we’ve had in the Bay. We drove from San Jose to try it and it was completely worth it. It honestly beats every place we’ve tried in NYC. We got slices of pepperoni, cheese, burrata, and white. We also grabbed the garlic knots and the chocolate chip cookie and everything was amazing. The owners were super kind and even let us add the garlic knots after we ordered without making us get back in line. Such a great experience. We’ll definitely be back.

Great NY slice in Oakland! Very close to June's Pizza. Probably 2nd favorite in bay area. Crust, sauce are on point.
