Manhattan Joe's Pizzeria - Mission Bay

Strong sense of tomato paste, very thin and floppy. Not a lot of grease but I think it’s so to the fact there isn’t much going on top of the pizza. Dominic’s having a worse rating is criminal.

Had the lunch special. Solid pie. A bit in the airy/light side for me. Crust was crispy but could’ve been in oven a minute or two longer. Many other places to try in the area before coming back. Also nicks in Deerfield and mama Maria’s in coconut creek better value on the lunch special.

Great pizza. Been there about 50 times. Top ingredients. The cheese slices and full pies are light snd airy with the perfect cheese to sauce ratio. Crispy undercarriage without burning the crust. Joe is a great dude. Huge personality and knows his shit. Should be on TV.
