Great flavour and crunch but heavy on the grease and major flop a 7.4 seems like a perfect review but also had great appetizers

After 15 years in Charlotte, NC, we found an establishment with Pizza that rivals the NY greats. The Grandma Pizza is as good as or better than Mamma Lombardi and Emilio’s on Long Island. Staff is hospitable. Chef is passionate about his craft and the place is spotless. Hopefully, Dave will pay a visit.

NOT BAD PIZZA! I got the Margherita. Was very, very good. Was a bit thrown off by the huge slices of tomato though. The sauce was honestly perfect. They didn’t through a ton of sugar in it, if any. It had a nice tang to it. The undercarriage was super crispy and it had no flop at all. Very light perfectly salted taste. But it may have been in the oven a few seconds too long. The cheese was fresh mozz which spread perfectly and was super stringy. And you can’t beat fresh basil. All in all, amazing pizza. Gotta give it a 7.9. And it was still great in the hotel room after!
