First review from michigan. Just moved here from fall river, ma and I need to see what Marco's is all about since its one of the closest to wear I live.
First impressions I love some aspects of the pizza and others could leave.
I am a meat lover so I always have Pepperoni and bacon on my pizza. Pepperoni is top notch. What an amazing flavor. Legit I smile when I bite into a slice with pep on it. The bacon though I would leave at marcos. Its hard for me to even call it bacon. The pieces are so small it reminds me of bacon bits. The flavor is pretty mediocre. In fact it does not even taste like bacon to me.
Now onto the rest of the pie. Cheese and sauce is on point. Legit I bite into it and think to myself yes they got it right. My biggest issue is the dough. The original crust you can choose does not appear thick, but when you bite into it it puts up a fight. Its very doughy and chewy. No flop because of the thickness. Honestly eating more than a few slices I could see getting tired of chewing. I myself would prefer it more well done so its easier to chew or flat out just getting their thin crust option.
Overall not a bad slice. I won't be raving to the friends and family back east about marco's but I wouldn't be opposed to ordering again and adjusting my order to find the right combination.
