Maria's Pizza

Maria’s is averaging a 5.3, ouch. Is it underrated or is the 5.3 score justified? To start, they gave me an extra slice for free. Bonus! The dough was undercooked, with some crispness in the crust. The sauce is watered down and sweet. Almost pink in color, it kills the flavor of this slice. The cheese and pepperoni standard, nothing special here. Overall, this pizza is terrible. 5.3 is close to what it should be.

Disappointed might be too generous of a comment about this place. First of all it took about 10 minutes just to get a single slice! Second of all the service was not the greatest. And last but not least the pizza was bland. I ate the first bite, cheese pepperoni and all and i tasted nothing. It was almost like I had covid again and couldn’t taste. I took a second bite and it tasted like it again. I ended up not finishing this slice which was very disappointing as people have said good things about this place. Maybe I caught it on an off day I don’t know but this was one of my least favorite slices. Will not be coming back here again.

Quite literally more grease in this pizza than sauce. The cheese fell off when I picked it up. The crust was like eating rocks from a pond. Pond full of grease. This pizza is shameful. Grease with a size of cheese pretty much.

I think the picture shows just how greasy this slice was. It was very fresh and it was in about 14 seperate pieces by the time I tried to pick it up. Besides the grease the cheese tasted like nothing, the crust was as hard as a rock and the sauce was nowhere to be tasted as of the grease. I love a solid pie but a grease pie is not gonna cut it.
