Mariella Pizza

Very solid

Nothing special, their cheese is very good though a bit oily but in a good way. The crust was ehhhh, sort of dry not in a good way. Take it or leave it sort of pizza

Very forgettable slice

So much like my last review Planet Pizza in CT. This is just your average football pizza. It was a tad bit tighter and less greasy so + .1

Cheese has a string cheese like texture. Crispy under carriage & good crust Nothing exceptional that’d put it in the 7’s, but a good slice

This is your prototypical, on the run, grab-n-go, solid NYC street slice. Better than dollar slice joints, no where near the best pie in the city but it gets the job done when you’re hungry for pizza. The sauce is very sweet with a nice tang, easily the best ingredient in this pie. The cheese is very thick and super stringy, requiring a lot of chewing to break it down to swallow. The dough is thickish, not too soft, but not nearly crispy enough. It’s got an NYC football pizza feel to it. The crust is very flakey and not quite as tasty as the dough. It’s a little on the greasy side, but not too terrible. Overall, it’s a very good slice if you’re in the neighborhood and need a pizza fix, don’t go out of your way though.

Just a little bland. Good crisp but no flavor or chew to the crust. Sauce is ok but not quite enough of it. Slightly greasy cheese.

Good crisp, little flop, a bit greasy for my liking, sauce was okay, cheese decent, nice real estate on the crust but was crazy about its texture. That’s a review Franklyn!

Very good football pizza! Crust has an awesome crunch to it and the sauce is excellent! Would visit again.
