The biggest positive from Marina is the patience taken in letting these slices get crispy. Too often the dudes working the counter at a pizzeria pull the slices out of the oven early when they think the customer is getting antsy. But the right decision is to let that slice sit in the oven for as long as needed, it’s what makes a good slice great. After waiting a few minutes to let that plain slice cool down, I started digging in. The slice is thin at the top with an excellent undercarriage. A delightful sauce along with a high quality cheese and enjoyable crust helps round one of my highest scores on the app. This is the type of pizza you dream your local shop makes. And they have plenty of specialty slices too, an added bonus.
