Saw el Prez was here a few days ago. So I drove down from Canada to check it out. Go in, the owner was grumpy as shit. No employees talking to each other… the place seemed miserable. I order my cheese pizza and the owner rings me up. I go to pay and this dude just comes to life. Nicest guy I’ve met in a long while! Typical Italian New Yorker, eh how you doin, tell your sister I said hi, kinda dude. Good vibes. Order the slice, they throw it in the oven for a reheat. This pizza slaps. Easily in the 8s. Little bit of flop but crisp, thin, you can tell the dough is aged nice. Tomato sauce was authentic no filler bullshit. Good mix of cheese for that snap. Not greasy. Honestly, the best New York slice I’ve had yet. Mario and salvo y’all are killin it in the pizza game. The fact Dave gave you a 7.5 he should be fined and thrown in jail lol
