Mario & Salvo's Pizzeria

NY style sausage and pepprona was pretty good. A little floppier than I expected but the undercarriage has nice char. Sauce was better than expected. I didn’t grade on the Sicilian because it’s not usually my style. This slice was decent. Crust is airy but could’ve used more toppings in general.

So good

Classic decent slices. Good vibe to the restaurant

Really good pizza!

Solid slice. No flop.

No flop! Yummy

Absolutely amazing! crust, undercarriage, and overall flavor was on point

great pie good crust and cheese

Best cheese pie I had in Syracuse

Landed and went straight to checking out Dave’s top picks for the area. Mario & Salvo’s is the best. You can tell it is a local favorite, with the owners friends with customers. The service is great. Best pizza in the area!

This pizza would never get old. Great weekly spot.

Good undercarriage but middle was a little floppy. Crust was awesome. Cheese and sauce were good as well.

Stooped here at opening this morning, special trip to try it. Normally a Pavones or Palladinos regular but this was a little floppy but delicious. Better than the other two but not by much. Will go to whichever shop I am closest too. No losers here.

This pizza is pretty good but not great. Dough is very good, cheese is good quality. But it’s just missing something, and that is sauce flavor. Good quality slice just needs some seasoning.

Good spot. Pizza was a bit too greasy but I liked it. Garlic knots were good - messy but good. Staff was very attentive.

Very thin and crispy. Great slice

Sometimes pizza this far upstate in NY isn't the best but this pizza is pretty solid. The cheese was pretty good quality, the sauce had good flavor and the crust was very good as well. Honestly it was a little surprising that it was pretty good, definitely didn't disappoint, I would recommend it.

Very solid, good crust, almost no flop, some of the stretchiest cheese I’ve ever had on a pizza, good atmosphere, can’t really ask for much more

Some of the best pizza in CNY!
