Marion's Piazza

Too sweet & under cooked

I was just home (hometown) for the majority of August and ate at Marion's three times due to more family coming into town. Before that I have been getting pizzas here my whole life. What I think makes this pizza is how great the crust is with the level of crispy and combination of char that really adds to the flavor. The other thing is the sauce. I'm not a culinary expert, but I think it's the oregano's level of presence in the sauce as it ends up being the icing on a cake equivalent to this pizzas overall flavor. This might also be me having been eating it since at least the early 80's, but the taste of the pizza matches the decor. It tastes like what the interior looks like and that's a very good thing. It's the taste of a perfected Ohio thin crust pizza that was mastered decades ago. If you are into Ohio thin crust pizza or are wanting to try it, this is the place to go. They have taken great care at every level of the thin crust game.

My go to pizza back when I was a kid. Ordered it well done since I like a crispier crust and the toppings a little more done than normal. Very crunchy for sure. Lots of pepperoni which cuts into the flavor of the cheese. I always liked the sauce as it has a little sweetness to it. While it is still a good pizza and I enjoy their subs, this isn’t my go to square pizza nor overall favorite pizza place.

Tastes like a frozen pizza but slightly better

This goes into the bar pizza category. Thin crust, crisp with solid flavor. Good blend of toppings and sauce. Small square cuts not my preference but doesn’t impact the score. This was a 13’’ bacon and black olive.

Reminds me of a bagel bites but better

Bite sized. Tangy sauce. Good crisp.

Great flavor immediately. Small pub style slices so you don’t feel like a fat ass eating it all. Very good pizza.
